Grandma’s Visit

A story from a Reiki and mediumship session that still makes me smile💗

Over Christmas, a good friend and her husband came to visit.

She asked if I could give her a Reiki session.

I was so excited and said yes!

I asked if she was open to mediumship during the session.

She agreed.

It’s not something she’s usually drawn to, so I felt honoured she was open to it.

We moved into my space, got settled and began.

The energy shifted

An older woman appeared on my left.

She wore a long flowing skirt and an apron.

I saw her in a kitchen, fully in her element, cooking.

It felt like her sacred space.

I shared what I was seeing and feeling.

“That’s my grandma”

Her mom’s mom.

She knew right away.

More messages came through.

They were gentle, loving, and full of warmth.

We finished the session and rejoined the others.

Later that night, once she was home, she sent me a photo of her grandma.

There she was. Apron and long skirt.

Just as I had seen her.

She told me I had shared things she had never told anyone.

She said that what came through made her believe.

Spirit always meets us with love.

And when we’re open, even just a little, something beautiful can come through.
