What happened during an acupuncture session while I was pregnant

I was at an acupuncture appointment, relaxing and riding the healing waves.

A few months pregnant, and feeling good, especially compared to the last two pregnancies.

It felt good to be alone and resting.

While I was lying there,

a child appeared on my left arm.

They just sat there and looked at me.

I was so surprised.

They looked a lot like my husband with light brownish hair.

When I opened my eyes, they were gone.

I’d already convinced myself I was having a boy.

This pregnancy felt like my first, which was my son.

Even the ring test swung boy.

Because the child looked like my husband, it added to my assumption that I was having a boy.

I’d always done the surprise with my pregnancies, but I felt so confident with the first three, and I’d been right each time.

That visit sealed it for me.

Well…

November rolls around, and my third daughter is born.

A girl!?

I was so surprised. I didnt believe my husband when he made the announcement. I even asked him to double check.

Now that I know her, I believe her soul was playing a little joke. She is full of personality and always up for a joke.

Her soul had me fully convinced she was a boy so I could experience the real feeling of surprise.

And the wildest part?

At 2 years old, she looks so much like her dad.

And she looks just like the child I saw during that acupuncture session.

I often think about that moment, the joy and surprise she brought with her birth. And I thank her for being such a great surprise 🤍

Pregnancy can be full of mystery, intuition, and spirit if we’re open to it.

And sometimes our babies can reach out before they arrive.
